Opening of the Love Does school

December 5 marked the opening of the Love Does Science Club, a new space at the Refuge Center.
One of the important tasks of the science club is to impart knowledge to children and young people in a creative and interesting way.
On the first day, the children’s task was to create a landing system for an astronaut( in this case, a raw egg), it was an opportunity to address issues related to gravity, energy transformations and, of course, air resistance.

The children divided into several teams, despite the same raw materials each of the landers looked completely different. Several of the missions to Mars were successful 🙂 there were also a few crashes. The children have fond memories of this time, and science experiments have become their favorite activity at the center.
